S afety footwear and workwear has become an unavoidable part of life for many dangerous professions, particularly in light of increasingly strict health and safety at work laws. Wherever you turn there is a tradesman in a high visibility jacket or a construction worker with safety boots and thick leather gloves. Safety footwear and workwear has grown in popularity over the last several decades as trade and employment become more and more government regulated. With a paradigm shift towards safety and caring for employees rather than maximizing profits, a huge demand has been created for protective clothing and garments in the work environment. Qualifications to start a career in Health and Safety

The qualifications that are required to make a career in health and safety are dependent on the type of role that you take. There are many qualifications that are appropriate, but most health and safety practitioners start with short introductory courses. When a greater level of knowledge is required a NEBOSH General Certificate qualification (approximately two weeks full-time study) is well recognised. A NEBOSH National General Certificate is, in reality, an essential minimum qualification for any full-time health and safety job. Many people then realise that they and their employers demand a greater level of knowledge. Most go on to study the NEBOSH Diploma (approximately seven weeks full-time study). The Diploma is the required level of qualification for most health and safety manager roles.  This is a more demanding qualification and I would recommend the Diploma to anyone who needs to have a full grasp of the challenges that a health and safety professional will be exposed to

B asic Life Support is also known as BLS , is used in the medical field to distinguish the types of medical care necessary to sustain someone's life until they can receive more detailed care. These skills are most often utilized by EMTs, paramedics, triage nurses, and anyone who has received BLS training . This type of medical treatment is needed in order to sustain someone's life in the event of a medical emergency. Some examples of when BLS would be needed include choking, cardiac arrest, or a near-drowning. There are three main components that someone would want to check when performing BLS. These are circulation, airway, and breathing. First, the patient's circulation would need to be checked by making sure their heart is beating properly so that blood can pump to the organs. In some cases, chest compressions may need to be performed to ensure that blood is circulating throughout the body. Their airway also should be checked for any foreign objects, sputum, or vom

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and its Importance
